white male teacher: “if you’re so eager to fight, then why don’t you?”
black boy: “cuz i don’t wanna pop you and get in trouble”
white male teacher: *what it sounds like he’s saying* “maybe there are couple brain cells still working in there”
like this boy was really trying hard to think logically and access what consequences would come out of acting in anger and, rather than respect the young man’s reasoning, the teacher continues to provoke aggression knowing if the kid acts upon it he still won’t face any consequences himself.
idk how many of you had to deal with the constant torment and degradation at the hands of white teachers teaching in inner city or predominately ethnic populated schools but this shit happens constantly. i and many others i know have had to deal with since the days of elementary school. these people are supposed to mentor and educate you without bias but too often it that is neglected and we are forced to suffer with no believing what we have to go through. obviously i’m not saying all white teachers are like this (because i know someone might try to make it seem like that) but i’m saying it happens too often.
so in my eyes, what came to this man was deserving because even in the face of reasoning he chose to provoke aggression.
That’s exactly what he gets!!! I dont know why people think it’s funny to pick at and provoke people then when the person go off they wanna be all “woe is me”
He deserves that shit.
